Heather Oak Hogg By Alison Brown

In a Scottish valley shaped by covenant, memory, and the pulse of ancient trees, a story unfolds across generations. From Florance McKinnon, the first keeper, to Heather Oak Hogg, the child who heard the land’s whisper, the valley has carried a sacred charge: Protect My Seed. Protect My Land. Protect My Spirit.

Through blessing and breach, restoration and renewal, awakening and trial, the covenant has endured. Five trees rise as witnesses — each rooted in soil older than memory, each carrying a chapter of the valley’s story. The land breathes. The river shimmers. The soil pulses. And the whisper continues.

Heather Oak Hogg Protect My Seed. Protect My Land. Protect My Spirit follows Heather’s journey from ridge walker to keeper, from listener to guardian, from child of the valley to bearer of the covenant beyond its borders. It tells of the children who rise after her, the guardians who stand in her place, and the valley that remembers everything.
